Food Recovery Network is a way to address the problems of hunger, food waste and global warming. We work together with local restaurants to distribute their food leftovers to the homeless. In 2011, America wasted 36 million tons of food was wasted and ended up in landfills according to the Environmental Protection Agency. The food then decomposes and produces methane, a chemical that has an effect on global warming. By distributing restaurant extras, the FRN helps solve the three problems that our currently facing our environment. Join us in our journey to help save the planet in some of the easiest ways.
